About Bookwebs

Bookwebs was set up in 2005 by Liz Wilkinson. Liz already ran a successful web design company, The Website Design Studio, but recognised the need for a niche website design service for writers and authors.

Hence, Bookwebs was formed to meet the demand for affordable, well designed websites for authors, writers, playwrights and publishers - anyone in the literary business in fact.

For many years, Liz designed online training courses and web applications for large companies - Reuters, Lloyds TSB and PricewaterhouseCoopers to name just a few. There she learnt the importance of good screen presentation and the clarity of the written word and carries these concepts forward into her work as a web designer. For the last six years, Liz has worked for herself, focusing on web design for individuals such as authors, writers and authors and small businesses.

Liz manages most client projects herself, calling in specialist expertise if required. Thus Bookwebs can offer a full range of web design services including hosting and Search Engine Optimisation advice. You can expect a friendly, courteous, personal service at all times. No question is too trivial. Every stage of the web design process will be explained in terms you can understand.

Bookwebs is based in Steyning, West Sussex but Liz designs websites for authors and writers all over the country and even internationally. All discussions can be done over the phone or by email.
